Unpleasant musty or sour odor from exhaust air during use

Safety: Unplug the Kobold carpet cleaner and remove all tanks and filters.

• Deep clean tanks: Wash clean and dirty water tanks with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
• Sanitize ducts: Wipe accessible internal surfaces with a cloth dampened with a mild disinfectant solution. Do not soak electrical components.
• Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters and replace any that are heavily soiled or smell bad.
• Dry thoroughly: Leave the unit open in a warm, dry place for 24 hours to allow all moisture to evaporate.
