Safety: Unplug before working on the brush roll.
- Remove brush cover: Access the brush roll by removing the bottom cover or side plate on the floorhead.
- Clear debris: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers wrapped around the brush and end caps.
- Inspect belt: Check the drive belt for cracks, glazing, or stretching. Replace with a genuine Miele belt if any damage is found.
- Check brush bearings: Spin the brush by hand. If rough or seized, replace the brush roll assembly.
