Possible Causes
Failed solution pump motor, Blocked pump inlet filter, Faulty pump relay or triac on PCB, Disconnected pump wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cleaner and empty the water tank before opening panels.
- Verify tank seating: Ensure the clean water/solution tank is fully seated and the valve at the bottom is opening when installed. Reseat the tank firmly.
- Check spray nozzles: Remove and inspect the spray nozzles for mineral buildup or debris. Soak in warm vinegar solution and rinse thoroughly.
- Inspect pump filter: Locate the small inlet filter or mesh screen on the pump or in the supply line. Clean any lint, hair, or scale blocking it.
- Listen for pump operation: With the unit plugged in and in spray mode, listen for a humming sound from the pump. If silent, the pump may not be receiving power or is seized.
- Check wiring: Unplug the unit, then inspect the pump wiring harness and connectors. Reseat any loose plugs.
- If pump is seized or open-circuit: Test the pump motor with a multimeter. If open or mechanically jammed, replace the complete solution pump assembly.
