How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before handling cables.
- Inspect handle cable: Follow the cable from the handle to the main body. Look for cuts, kinks, or crushed sections, especially near strain reliefs.
- Reseat connectors: Open the handle housing (if serviceable) and the main body panel where the cable connects to the PCB. Reseat all multi-pin connectors firmly.
- Check for moisture: Ensure there is no moisture ingress in the handle controls. Dry gently if any condensation is present.
- Power reset: Unplug the unit for 10 minutes to reset the electronics, then test again.
- If specific buttons never respond: The handle PCB or keypad membrane may be defective and should be replaced as a complete handle control assembly.
