Possible Causes
Clogged internal solution line, Blocked flow sensor turbine, Airlock in solution circuit, Faulty flow sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and empty tanks before disassembly.
- Bleed air from system: Fill the clean water tank, reinstall, and run the pump with the spray trigger held for 30–60 seconds to purge air. Tilt the unit slightly to help air escape.
- Clean solution lines: Disconnect the solution hose at accessible joints and flush with warm water to remove detergent buildup.
- Inspect flow sensor: Locate the flow sensor (often a small plastic housing with wires and an internal turbine). Remove and check for debris or scale preventing the turbine from spinning. Rinse gently.
- Check for kinks: Ensure no hoses are pinched or sharply bent inside the housing.
- If sensor output is faulty: If the turbine spins freely but the control still reports no flow, the flow sensor may be defective and should be replaced.
