Possible Causes

Cracked solution hose, Loose hose clamp, Leaking pump seal, Activated leak tray sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit immediately. Do not continue to operate a leaking appliance.

  • Remove tanks: Take out both clean and dirty water tanks and dry any visible water around their compartments.
  • Inspect base for water: Remove the bottom cover (if serviceable) and check the leak tray or base pan for standing water. Dry thoroughly with towels.
  • Trace leak source: Fill the clean water tank with colored water (add a few drops of food coloring), reinstall, and observe hoses, pump, and fittings for drips.
  • Tighten or replace fittings: Tighten any loose hose clamps. Replace cracked hoses or O-rings on quick-connect fittings.
  • Check leak sensor: If equipped, ensure the leak sensor or float in the base is dry and moves freely. If corroded, it may need replacement.
  • Do not bypass leak sensor: If the sensor is triggering due to real leaks, repair the leak before resetting the unit.
