Unit leaves carpets overly wet, poor water extraction after cleaning

Safety: Unplug before inspecting the floorhead.

• Clean recovery channel: Turn the floorhead over and clean the suction slot and channels where water is picked up. Remove lint and hair.
• Inspect squeegee lips: Check the rubber squeegee or pickup lips for wear, warping, or tears. Replace if they do not make full contact with the carpet.
• Check tank lid seal: Ensure the dirty water tank lid is properly closed and the gasket is intact. Replace damaged seals.
• Verify suction strength: If suction is weak, clean filters and check for hose blockages as described in the suction loss section.
