Possible Causes
Blocked recovery path in floorhead, Worn or damaged suction squeegee, Low suction due to filter blockage, Dirty water tank not sealing properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspecting the floorhead.
- Clean recovery channel: Turn the floorhead over and clean the suction slot and channels where water is picked up. Remove lint and hair.
- Inspect squeegee lips: Check the rubber squeegee or pickup lips for wear, warping, or tears. Replace if they do not make full contact with the carpet.
- Check tank lid seal: Ensure the dirty water tank lid is properly closed and the gasket is intact. Replace damaged seals.
- Verify suction strength: If suction is weak, clean filters and check for hose blockages as described in the suction loss section.
