Safety: Unplug before inspection.
- Inspect brush housing: Remove the floor head cover and look for small objects (coins, stones) trapped near the brush.
- Check brush bearings: Spin the brush roll by hand. Replace if noisy or wobbly.
- Check motor mounts: Open the base and tighten any loose motor mounting screws or brackets.
- Inspect motor fan: If noise persists, the suction motor fan may be damaged. Replacement of the motor assembly is usually required.
