Possible Causes
Cracked solution hose, Loose hose clamp at pump or manifold, Damaged solution tank outlet seal, Leaking spray manifold
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and drain the solution tank before opening covers. Beware of slippery floors.
- Identify leak source: Fill the solution tank with clean water and observe the underside and internal hoses (with covers removed) to locate the leak.
- Tighten clamps: If a hose has slipped off or is loose at a barb fitting, refit and secure it with a new hose clamp.
- Replace damaged hoses: Cut out cracked or swollen sections and replace with Nilfisk‑specified solution hose of the same diameter and rating.
- Check tank outlet seal: Inspect the grommet or valve at the bottom of the solution tank. Replace the solution tank outlet seal if it is hardened or leaking.
