How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before working near the brush.
- Remove brush assembly: Take off the base plate and lift out the brush roller.
- Inspect end caps: Check for melted plastic, cracks, or excessive play in the end caps.
- Clean and lubricate: Remove debris and, if allowed by Numatic, apply a light, appropriate lubricant to metal bearings (do not lubricate plastic bushings unless specified).
- Replace worn parts: If the brush shaft is scored or the bearings are loose, replace the complete brush roller assembly.
