Possible Causes
Cracked solution hose inside machine, Loose hose clamp at pump outlet, Leaking solution pump seal, Cracked solution manifold or fitting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and empty the solution tank before opening the casing. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.
- Remove covers: Access the internal solution circuit by removing the side or base panels as per the service instructions.
- Identify leak source: Fill the tank with clean water and, with the machine still unplugged, observe for drips while gently pressurising the line by manually operating the pump (if possible) or briefly plugging in under close supervision.
- Tighten clamps: Secure any loose hose clamps at the pump outlet, manifold, or tank connections.
- Replace damaged hoses/fittings: Any hose showing cracks or stiffness should be replaced. Replace cracked manifolds or elbows with Numatic parts.
- Check pump body: If water appears from the pump housing seam, the pump seal may have failed and the pump should be replaced.
