Possible Causes
Failed solution pressure transducer, Blocked pressure sensor port, Air trapped in solution line, Faulty pressure input circuit on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Depressurize the solution system by turning off the pump and squeezing the trigger on the wand before disconnecting any fittings.
- Bleed air from system: Fill the solution tank, start the pump, and hold the wand trigger open into a bucket until a steady, air-free stream flows. Air pockets can cause erratic pressure readings.
- Inspect pressure sensor port: Locate the pressure transducer on the solution manifold. Remove the sensor or its fitting and check for debris or scale blocking the port. Clean carefully and reinstall with appropriate thread sealant.
- Check sensor wiring: Inspect the pressure sensor connector and harness for damage or corrosion. Clean and reseat the connector.
- Replace pressure transducer: If pressure is stable mechanically (verified with a mechanical gauge) but the display or control logic behaves erratically, replace the Prochem solution pressure transducer.
- Control PCB: If a new sensor does not resolve E10, the pressure input circuit on the control PCB may be faulty. Replace the control PCB.
