Display shows E16 and the machine indicates an internal over-temperature condition; unit may shut down completely.

Safety: Disconnect power and allow the unit to cool before opening any panels.

• Check ventilation: Ensure that all air vents on the Prochem unit are clear of dust, lint, and obstructions. Do not operate the machine in confined spaces without airflow.
• Inspect cooling fan: If your model has an internal electronics cooling fan, verify that it spins freely and runs when the machine is on. Replace the fan if seized or not running.
• Clean internal dust: Carefully vacuum or blow out dust from the control compartment, avoiding direct contact with sensitive components.
• Temperature sensor: Some models use a small thermistor or thermal switch on the PCB or heat sink. Inspect wiring and replace the internal temperature sensor if it reads open/short or is physically damaged.
