Heated models: Solution overheats, producing steam at the wand or tripping thermal cutouts frequently.

Safety: Risk of scalding. Allow the machine to cool and depressurize before opening any fittings.

• Check flow: Ensure that solution flow is not restricted by blocked jets or filters. Low flow can cause overheating.
• Inspect thermostat and sensor: Replace the solution thermostat or temperature sensor if they do not control temperature correctly according to Prochem specifications.
• Test high-limit thermostat: Verify that the manual-reset high-limit trips when temperature is excessive. If it does not, replace the high-limit thermostat immediately.
• Do not bypass safety devices: Never bypass thermostats or high-limits as a permanent fix; always replace faulty components.
