Possible Causes
Use of high-foaming detergents, Insufficient defoamer in waste tank, Blocked foam sensor or deflector, Overfilling waste tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the waste tank. Avoid inhaling aerosolized chemicals.
- Use proper chemicals: Ensure you are using Prochem-approved low-foaming detergents for extraction. Avoid household cleaners that create heavy foam.
- Add defoamer: Place a small amount of Prochem defoamer directly into the waste tank before starting extraction, following product instructions.
- Clean foam deflector: Inspect and clean the foam deflector or baffle inside the waste tank lid. Remove lint and residue that can trap foam.
- Do not overfill: Empty the waste tank before it reaches the maximum fill line to prevent foam from reaching the vacuum intake.
