Possible Causes
Failed vacuum or pump motor, Stuck or pitted relay contacts, Low supply voltage, Loose motor wiring connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Verify supply: Confirm correct voltage at the outlet and at the machine's terminal block.
- Inspect motor connectors: Check that all motor connectors are fully seated and free of corrosion or burn marks. Reseat or replace as needed.
- Test motors: Measure resistance across motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace the affected Prochem motor.
- Check relays/contactors: Inspect relay contacts for pitting or burning. If the relay clicks but does not pass power, replace the relay or the entire control PCB if relays are board-mounted.
