Possible Causes
Clogged spray jets on wand or tool, Blocked inline solution filter, Kinked or crushed solution hose, Closed or faulty solution shutoff valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the machine. Depressurize by squeezing the trigger until flow stops.
- Check spray tips: Remove the jets from the wand or floor tool using the correct wrench. Soak in warm water and gently clean with a soft brush or jet cleaning tool. Do not enlarge the orifice with metal objects.
- Clean inline filter: Locate the inline solution filter (often a clear bowl or metal housing). Remove, disassemble, and rinse the screen. Reassemble and ensure seals are correctly seated.
- Inspect hoses: Follow the solution hose from the pump to the wand. Straighten any kinks and replace sections that are flattened or internally collapsed.
- Verify valves: Ensure any solution shutoff or priming valves on the Prochem unit are in the correct operating position. If a valve handle feels loose or does not fully open, replace the valve.
