Possible Causes

Worn solution pump, Air leak on suction side of pump, Partially clogged jets, Low voltage to pump motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and relieve pressure before servicing.

  • Eliminate air leaks: Check the suction hose from the solution tank to the pump for loose clamps, cracked hose, or damaged fittings. Replace or tighten as needed.
  • Clean jets and filters: Remove and clean spray jets and the inline filter as described in the previous scenario.
  • Check pump performance: If available, connect a pressure gauge to the solution outlet and compare to Prochem specifications. If pressure is significantly low with clean filters and no air leaks, replace the Prochem solution pump.
  • Verify supply voltage: Measure voltage at the pump motor while running. If low, inspect wiring, switches, and connectors for resistance and heat damage.
