Possible Causes
Broken trigger lever, Disconnected control rod or cable, Failed trigger micro-switch, Worn trigger return spring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the handle assembly.
- 1. Inspect trigger mechanism: Remove the handle cover to expose the trigger. Check for cracks or breaks in the plastic lever. Replace the trigger if damaged.
- 2. Check linkage: Ensure the control rod or cable from the trigger to the valve or switch is connected at both ends and moves freely.
- 3. Test trigger switch: If your model uses an electrical trigger micro-switch, test it with a multimeter while pressing the trigger. Replace if it does not change state.
- 4. Replace return spring: If the trigger does not return to rest position, replace the trigger spring.
Note: Do not force the trigger; this can break internal components.
