Possible Causes
Damaged clean water tank seal, Cracked clean or dirty water tank, Perished solution outlet O-ring, Internal hose leak to spray manifold
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and remove both tanks. Mop up any spilled water to avoid slipping or electrical hazards.
- Inspect tanks: Check the clean and dirty water tanks for visible cracks, especially around the base and handle. Fill the clean tank over a sink and watch for drips.
- Check tank seals and caps: Examine the rubber seals around the tank caps and outlet valves. If they are flattened, split, or hardened, they should be replaced.
- Inspect base seals: Look at the rubber grommet or O-ring where the clean tank connects to the base. Clean away debris and ensure it is not torn.
- Internal hoses (advanced): Remove the lower cover to inspect the internal solution and return hoses. Look for loose clamps or splits in the hose near the spray manifold or pump.
- Replace faulty parts: Fit new tank seals, O-rings, or a replacement clean/dirty water tank as needed. If an internal hose is leaking, replace it with heat-resistant, pressure-rated hose of the same diameter.
