SEBO
Restricted Airflow in Suction Path
Carpet cleaner has very weak suction at the floor nozzle

Possible Causes
Clogged SEBO hose, Blocked wand or neck, Full filter bag, Clogged pre-motor filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the SEBO carpet cleaner before clearing blockages.
- Check the bag: Open the bag compartment and replace the SEBO filter bag if it is more than 2/3 full or feels packed.
- Inspect hose and wand: Detach the hose and wand. Look through them toward a light. Use a broom handle or flexible rod to gently push out any clogs. Do not use sharp metal objects that could puncture the hose.
- Test suction at the body: With the hose removed, briefly plug in and turn on the machine. Feel the suction at the main inlet. If strong here but weak at the floor, the blockage is in the hose, wand, or head.
- Clean or replace filters: Remove the pre-motor filter and tap it gently outdoors to remove loose dust if SEBO allows. Replace if heavily soiled. Check the exhaust filter and replace if clogged.
Regularly changing bags and filters prevents suction loss and protects the motor.
