How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting the handle.

Test alternate controls: If the main body switch works but the handle switch does not, the fault is likely in the handle assembly.
Inspect handle cable: Look for visible damage where the cable enters the handle or body. Flexing here can break internal conductors.
Check connectors: If accessible, ensure the handle harness connector at the base is fully seated.
Handle replacement: Many SEBO handles are supplied as complete assemblies with switch and wiring. Replacing the handle assembly is often more reliable than attempting to repair the internal switch.

Do not attempt to splice high-voltage wires inside the handle without proper insulation and strain relief.

Carpet cleaner will not turn on when using the handle switch but works from main body switch (if separate)
