Possible Causes
Incorrectly seated SEBO filter bag, Blocked bag housing inlet, Faulty bag full pressure sensor, Damaged wiring to sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before opening the bag compartment.
- Reseat the bag: Remove the filter bag and reinstall it, ensuring the collar is fully pushed onto the bag holder and the flap opens correctly. Use only genuine SEBO bags; off-brand bags may not actuate the sensor properly.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect the bag housing inlet where dirt enters. Remove any clumps of debris or objects that may block airflow and falsely trigger the bag-full sensor.
- Inspect the bag door: Ensure the bag door closes fully and latches. A misaligned door can prevent the sensor from resetting.
- Sensor and wiring: If the warning persists with a new bag and clear housing, the pressure sensor or microswitch may be faulty. Accessing and testing this component requires opening the housing and should be done by a technician.
Do not bypass the bag or run the machine without a bag; this can damage the motor and filters.
