Machine vibrates and makes a thumping noise when starting but then smooths out

Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspection.

• Clean brush roller: Remove the bottom plate and clean any clumps of hair or debris from the roller that could cause imbalance.
• Inspect wheels: Check for flat spots or damage on the wheels. Replace SEBO wheels if they are not round or do not roll smoothly.
• Tighten bottom plate: Ensure the bottom plate is properly seated and all screws are snug.
• Monitor: If the thumping persists or worsens, replace the brush roller to eliminate imbalance.

Store the machine on its wheels rather than resting weight on the brush head to avoid deforming components.
