Carpet cleaner has no suction at the floor nozzle, but the motor can be heard running

Safety first: Unplug the unit before checking for blockages.

• Check dirty water tank: Remove and reinstall the dirty water tank, ensuring it is fully seated and the gasket around the suction port is clean and undamaged.
• Inspect nozzle opening: Turn the unit over and look into the suction opening. Remove any debris, hair, or fabric blocking the airway.
• Clean filters: Remove the pre-motor filter (usually foam or felt). Wash if washable and allow to dry completely before reinstalling, or replace if heavily soiled.
• Check internal hose: Follow the suction path from the nozzle to the tank. If accessible, inspect the internal hose for splits or disconnections and reseat or replace as needed.
