Carpet cleaner makes loud grinding or rattling noises from the brush area during use

Safety first: Unplug the cleaner before turning it over.

• Remove nozzle cover: Take off the bottom cover to expose the brushroll.
• Clear debris: Cut and pull away hair, threads, and fibers from the brush and end caps.
• Inspect end caps: Remove the brushroll and check the end caps and bearing areas for wear or melting. If the brush does not spin smoothly by hand, replace the brushroll assembly.
• Check for foreign objects: Look inside the nozzle for small toys, stones, or other objects and remove them.
