Possible Causes
Mis-seated clean water tank, Damaged tank valve, Faulty tank presence switch, Broken magnet or float in tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting tanks.
- Remove and reseat tank: Take out the clean water/solution tank and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Ensure it is not tilted or partially engaged.
- Inspect tank valve: Check the bottom valve for damage or sticking. Press it gently to ensure it moves freely and springs back.
- Check for cracks: Look for cracks around the tank base that might prevent proper sealing and sensor activation.
- Sensor inspection: On the body, locate the tank presence switch or magnet sensor. Ensure it is clean and not obstructed by debris.
- Test with gentle pressure: With the unit plugged in, gently press the tank into place and see if the error clears. If it only works when pressed, the latch or sensor may need adjustment or replacement.
