Possible Causes
Clogged suction hose, Blocked floor nozzle, Full or incorrectly seated dirty water tank, Clogged pre-motor filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before clearing blockages.
- Empty and reseat dirty tank: Ensure the recovery tank is not full and is correctly installed with all seals in place.
- Check hose and nozzle: Detach the hose and floor head. Look through the hose for obstructions and clear them with a flexible brush. Clean the nozzle opening and squeegee lips.
- Clean filters: Remove the pre-motor filter and rinse under lukewarm water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Replace if heavily soiled or damaged.
- Inspect gaskets: Check the seals between the tank and body for damage or misalignment that could cause air leaks.
After reassembly, test suction by placing your hand over the hose end. Strong suction should be felt; if not, further motor or seal inspection may be needed.
