Possible Causes

Cracked solution hose, Loose hose clamp, Leaking pump housing, Damaged tank seal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit immediately if an internal leak is suspected. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

  • Remove tanks: Take out both clean and dirty water tanks. Check for cracks or damaged seals and replace tanks if necessary.
  • Inspect hoses and joints: Open the base housing and visually inspect all solution and recovery hoses. Look for wet areas, mineral tracks, or drips. Tighten hose clamps and replace any cracked hoses.
  • Check pump and valve seals: Examine the solution pump and any valves for signs of leakage around seals. Replace O-rings or the entire pump assembly if leaking.
  • Dry the leak sensor area: If your Siemens model has a leak sensor pad or float, gently dry the area with a towel and allow the unit to air dry completely before reassembly.

Do not operate the cleaner until the source of the leak is fully resolved. If you cannot locate the leak, contact Siemens service.
