No power to accessory hose or upholstery tool (no suction at tool port)

Safety: Unplug the unit before clearing blockages.

• Check hose connection: Ensure the accessory hose is fully inserted and locked into the port.
• Clear port: Look into the accessory port and remove any lint or debris. Use a small brush or vacuum to clear it.
• Inspect diverter mechanism: Some Siemens models use a flap to divert suction to the hose. Ensure it moves freely when the hose is connected.
• Check internal hose: If accessible, inspect the internal hose from the main body to the port for blockages and clear them.

After clearing, test suction at the hose end. If still weak, overall suction issues may be present.
