Dirty water leaks from the recovery tank area during use

Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the recovery tank.

• Check fill level: Ensure you are not exceeding the MAX line on the tank. Overfilling will cause leaks and poor suction.
• Inspect gasket: Examine the lid gasket for tears, flattening, or missing sections. Clean it and the mating surfaces with warm soapy water.
• Check lid fit: Reinstall the lid and verify it latches evenly on all sides. A warped lid may not seal and should be replaced.
• Look for cracks: Fill the tank with water and gently tilt it over a sink to see if water escapes from seams. Replace the tank if cracked.
