Possible Causes
Air-locked solution pump, clogged solution inlet filter, failed solution pump motor, loose wiring to pump connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and empty tanks before removing hoses.
- Prime the pump: Fill the clean solution tank fully and ensure it is seated correctly. With the unit plugged in, hold the spray trigger for 30–60 seconds to purge air. If the pump starts spraying, the error may clear.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove the clean solution tank and locate the inlet screen or filter at the tank outlet or pump inlet. Rinse under warm water and brush off debris.
- Check hoses: Inspect the clear solution hose from tank to pump and from pump to spray manifold for kinks or pinches. Straighten or reroute as needed.
- Inspect pump wiring: With power disconnected, remove the side panel to access the solution pump. Verify the 2‑pin connector is fully seated and wires are not broken at the crimp.
If the pump is receiving voltage (technician check) but does not run or only hums, replace the solution pump assembly.
