Possible Causes
Defective spray trigger microswitch, broken trigger lever, damaged handle cable, loose connector at control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the handle assembly.
- Inspect trigger movement: Squeeze the trigger and confirm it returns smoothly. If it feels loose or does not spring back, the internal lever or spring may be broken.
- Open handle housing: Remove screws from the handle and separate the halves. Locate the trigger microswitch and check that the trigger tab properly actuates it.
- Test microswitch: Disconnect the switch and test continuity with a multimeter while pressing the button. Replace the switch if it does not change state reliably.
- Check wiring: Follow the handle cable down to the main body. Ensure the connector is fully seated on the control board and the cable is not pinched.
