Possible Causes
Failed inrush current limiter (NTC), defective soft-start relay, shorted motor drawing excessive current, damaged line filter module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. This fault involves high-voltage components.
- Check for obvious shorts: Inspect the vacuum and brush motors for signs of burning or melted insulation. Do not continue to power the unit if a motor appears damaged.
- Inspect line filter and NTC: On the control PCB or power entry module, look for a disc-shaped NTC or line filter. If cracked or charred, it must be replaced.
- Relay inspection: Listen for the relay click when starting. A relay that chatters or clicks off immediately may have burnt contacts or be controlled by an overcurrent protection circuit.
Because of the risk of fire and shock, diagnosis and repair of E19 should be performed by a qualified technician.
