How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cleaner.
- Reproduce fault: Gently move the handle up and down while the unit is plugged in (then unplug) to confirm the correlation.
- Inspect handle pivot: Remove the cover at the handle pivot and check for pinched or broken wires.
- Test switch: Locate the handle position switch and test continuity in different handle positions. Replace if readings are inconsistent.
- Replace cable: If flexing the cable causes the unit to start/stop, replace the handle wiring harness.
