Possible Causes
Dirty recovery tank not cleaned after use, stagnant water in hoses, contaminated brush head, clogged and damp filters
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and wear gloves if mold is visible.
- Deep clean tanks: Empty and wash both clean and dirty water tanks with hot soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
- Sanitize hoses and nozzle: Run a solution of warm water and a small amount of white vinegar or approved machine sanitizer through the solution system, then flush with clean water.
- Clean filters: Remove and wash foam and mesh filters. Let them dry fully before reinstalling.
- Dry storage: Store the unit with tanks removed and lids open to allow airflow.
