Carpet cleaner very hard to push on carpet, feels like it is sticking

Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting the base.

• Adjust height (if available): Set the brush height to a higher setting for thick or deep-pile carpets.
• Clean base and nozzle: Wipe the underside of the nozzle and base with a damp cloth to remove dried detergent and dirt.
• Inspect wheels: Check that all wheels rotate freely. Remove hair and debris from axles. Replace wheels if seized or damaged.
• Check nozzle edge: Ensure the front lip of the nozzle is smooth and not bent inward. Replace the nozzle if it is deformed.
