Possible Causes

Faulty solution trigger microswitch, Broken trigger lever, Damaged wiring in handle loom, Fault on control PCB input from trigger

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before opening the handle or control housing.

  • Inspect trigger movement: Check that the trigger on the handle moves freely and returns under spring tension. If it feels loose or does not spring back, the trigger mechanism may be broken and require replacement.
  • Access handle switch: Remove screws from the handle housing and carefully split the casing. Locate the small microswitch activated by the trigger.
  • Test microswitch: Disconnect the switch and use a multimeter on continuity. Press the switch; it should open and close reliably. If intermittent or dead, replace the trigger microswitch.
  • Check handle loom: Inspect the cable running down the handle for pinched or broken wires, especially where the handle folds or pivots. Replace the handle wiring loom if damaged.
  • Reassemble and test: Refit the handle covers, ensuring no wires are trapped. Plug in and test trigger operation. If E6 persists, the main PCB trigger input may be faulty and require professional service.
