Machine leaves streaks or lines on carpet after cleaning

Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the nozzle or brush bar.

• Clean spray bar and nozzle: Remove the front nozzle and spray bar. Soak in warm water and gently clean all jets and edges.
• Inspect nozzle for warping: Check that the nozzle edge is straight and not bent. Replace the nozzle if warped or cracked.
• Check brush bar: Inspect bristles for uneven wear or missing sections. Replace the brush bar if badly worn.
• Use correct detergent: Ensure you are using Vax-approved solution at the recommended dilution. Overly strong solution can leave streaky residue.
