Solution tank empties very quickly, carpets become overly soapy

Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting the solution system.

• Use correct mix: Ensure you are using the recommended amount of Vax solution and filling the tank to the correct line.
• Check user technique: Only hold the trigger on the forward wet pass, then release and make several dry passes.
• Inspect flow restrictor: Some models have a small restrictor in the solution line or spray bar. Ensure it is present and not dislodged.
• Check solution valve: Verify that the valve closes fully when the trigger is released. Replace the valve assembly if it leaks internally.
