Strong burning smell or smoke from machine during use

Safety first: Switch off immediately, unplug the machine, and do not use again until inspected. Smoke or burning smell indicates a potential fire risk.

• Check brush bar and belt: After cooling, remove the bottom plate and inspect the belt and brush bar. Replace a melted belt and free any jammed brush bar.
• Inspect motor area: Remove covers and look for signs of burning around the motor or PCB. If the motor smells burnt or shows blackened windings, replace the motor assembly.
• Look for foreign objects: Check the motor fan housing for debris that may have entered and caused friction.
• Do not bypass safety devices: If any thermal fuses or cut-outs have operated, do not bypass them. Replace with correct parts.
• Seek professional service: For any serious burning or smoke from the PCB or wiring, have the machine inspected by a qualified technician.
