How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the tanks. Work over a towel or tray.
- Inspect tank for cracks: Fill the clean water tank and place it on a dry surface. Look for drips from seams or corners. Replace the tank if any cracks are found.
- Check outlet seal: Examine the rubber seal around the tank outlet valve. If it is hardened, cracked, or misshapen, replace the seal or the valve assembly.
- Inspect internal hoses: Remove the lower housing and check the hose from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the spray manifold. Tighten clamps and replace any hose showing signs of swelling or cracking.
- Test after reassembly: Refill the tank, reinstall, and observe for leaks before using on carpet.
