• Empty and rinse tank: Remove the dirty water tank and rinse thoroughly to remove foam.
• Use correct detergent: Only use Vileda-approved low-foam carpet cleaning solutions at the recommended dilution.
• Add defoamer: If your model allows, add a small amount of defoaming agent to the dirty water tank to control foam.
• Rinse carpets: If carpets have residual shampoo from previous cleanings, perform a rinse-only pass with clean water to remove excess detergent.
