Carpet cleaner leaves carpets very wet after cleaning; drying time is excessively long.

Safety: Unplug the unit and empty the dirty water tank before inspection.

• Check tank seals: Inspect the rubber gasket around the dirty water tank lid and where the tank meets the body. Clean off debris and ensure the tank seats firmly without gaps. Replace the gasket if it is torn or flattened.
• Clean suction nozzle: Remove the front nozzle and rinse under warm water. Use a soft brush to clear lint and fibers from the suction channel.
• Inspect suction hose: Detach and flex the hose while blocking one end and blowing into the other. Listen for hissing that indicates cracks. Replace the hose if damaged.
• Check motor gasket: If accessible, inspect the foam or rubber gasket between the motor housing and suction chamber. Replace if deteriorated.
