Possible Causes
Stuck overpressure valve, Cracked hydraulic manifold, Loose hose connection causing internal leak, Blocked coffee outlet causing pressure spike
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine and place it on a towel to catch any leaks.
- Check external leaks: Inspect around the water tank, drip tray, and coffee spout for visible leaks or cracks.
- Clean coffee outlet: Remove and clean the coffee spout and distribution block with hot water to ensure they are not blocked by coffee oils.
- Inspect internal hoses: Remove the side panel and check silicone hoses and clamps for signs of leakage or disconnection.
- Examine overpressure valve: Locate the overpressure valve on the pump outlet or hydraulic block. If it is leaking or stuck open, replace it with an AEG-compatible valve.
- Dry and test: Dry any internal water, reassemble, and test for leaks while monitoring the hydraulic circuit.
