How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before manipulating the brew unit.
- Reinsert brew unit: Remove the brew group and reinstall it firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the service door closes completely.
- Clean contacts and guides: Clean the brew unit rails and contact points with a damp cloth to remove coffee residues that may prevent full insertion.
- Check locking mechanism: Inspect the brew unit for broken plastic tabs or latches. Replace the brew unit if damaged.
- Test microswitch: Locate the brew unit presence switch inside the compartment. Manually actuate it and test continuity with a multimeter. Replace if defective.
