Steam wand does not produce steam or only spits water.

Safety: Allow the machine to cool and unplug before cleaning.

• Clean nozzle: Unscrew the steam tip and soak in hot water. Use a fine needle to clear the holes.
• Purge steam: After cleaning, run steam for 20–30 seconds to purge residual water.
• Descale: Run a descaling cycle focusing on the steam circuit to remove internal scale.
• Check steam settings: Ensure the machine is set to steam mode and has reached operating temperature before opening the steam valve.
