Possible Causes
Thermostat calibrated low, Scale on boiler or thermoblock, Cold cups or environment, Faulty temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use caution when handling hot water.
- Preheat cups: Rinse cups with hot water from the machine or tap before brewing to reduce heat loss.
- Run a blank shot: On espresso models, run a shot of hot water without coffee to preheat the group and portafilter.
- Descale: Perform a full descaling cycle. Scale on the boiler reduces heat transfer and lowers brew temperature.
- Check settings: Some Ariete models allow adjusting coffee temperature in the menu. Set it to a higher level if available.
- If temperature remains low: The thermostat or NTC sensor may be faulty and require replacement by a technician.
