Coffee is not hot enough even immediately after brewing.

Safety first: Use caution when handling hot water.

• Preheat cups: Rinse cups with hot water from the machine or tap before brewing to reduce heat loss.
• Run a blank shot: On espresso models, run a shot of hot water without coffee to preheat the group and portafilter.
• Descale: Perform a full descaling cycle. Scale on the boiler reduces heat transfer and lowers brew temperature.
• Check settings: Some Ariete models allow adjusting coffee temperature in the menu. Set it to a higher level if available.
• If temperature remains low: The thermostat or NTC sensor may be faulty and require replacement by a technician.
