Display or indicator lights show that the water tank is empty even when it is full.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the tank.

• Clean tank: Empty and rinse the water tank. Move the internal float up and down to ensure it moves freely.
• Descale tank: If the float is sticky, soak the tank in a mild descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly.
• Clean sensor area: Wipe the area on the machine where the tank sits, especially any transparent windows or sensor points.
• Reinsert tank firmly: Make sure the tank is fully seated and not tilted.
• If problem persists: The internal level sensor may be faulty and require replacement by a technician.
