Possible Causes
Grinder burrs jammed by stones or oily beans, Grinder motor overload, Blocked coffee chute, Grinder motor wiring fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before working near the grinder.
- Empty bean hopper: Remove all beans from the hopper. Check for foreign objects such as stones or hard fragments and remove them.
- Adjust grind setting: Set the grind to a slightly coarser setting. Very fine settings increase load and can cause E07.
- Clean grinder chute: If your Ariete model has access to the coffee chute, open it and use the supplied brush or a small vacuum to remove compacted grounds.
- Run a test: Refill with fresh, dry beans (avoid very oily dark roasts). Plug in and start a coffee cycle. Listen for normal grinder operation.
- If E07 persists: The grinder motor or its control circuit may be faulty. Replacing the grinder assembly requires opening the machine; seek professional service.
